One aspect of the Method that initially appealed to Amy was that it is nondenominational – it can be applied with success to any horse and to any discipline. With her background training horses for the public and the knowledge she received at the ranch, Amy has experienced that success herself. “I have the confidence now of knowing that I can help any horse and any rider. No matter what you want to do with your horse, I can teach you how to put a solid foundation on your horse that you can build off of to have a better partnership,” Amy says. “I’ve been in that place where you’re frustrated with your horse and you don’t know what to do. You’re lacking knowledge and you need someone to come along and help you.”
Amy was lucky enough to find that helping hand with the Method and is passionate about sharing Clinton’s approach to horsemanship with others. “I’m proud to be a part of Downunder Horsemanship because there’s a standard of excellence associated with the company; subpar performance is not accepted. To have Clinton’s stamp of approval and his support means everything to me,” Amy says. “I’m excited to establish a career in which I get to share the passion I have with others and help them have better partnerships with their horses.”
